Financial Analyst
Our client is a Swiss based global supply finance servicing company handling accounts receivables of large vendors on behalf of large banks for the purpose of financing the buyers of the respective vendors. They are the servicing arm of banks and credit insurers using their own developed software for the automation of the processes they are engaged in. Since 1991, they have been a leader in the supply chain financing market with designing and implementing solutions, together with financial an credit institutions as partners.
Salary Range: RM 6,000 per month + Benefits
Location: Kuala Lumpur
The Job:
- Issue financial statements analysis
- Conduct credit risk assessment
- Coordinate tasks between company and its business partners (Funders and Vendors)
- Managing relevant credit line and collaterals
- Create financial scorecards and portfolio overviews
- Work with the global finance team to provide analysis and insights to finance and business leadership
- Communicate with country credit teams to obtain and share credit information
- Performing in-depths analysis of credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risks involved in extending credit
- Write credit reports including detailed credit analysis and recommendations and submit for approvals
- Provide solid data analysis and ensure quality deliverables in the achievement of analytical goal
- Evaluate customer records and recommend payment terms based on financials, profitability and trading history
- Conduct periodic tests of key controls in accordance with the operational risk policy framework
- Continually review all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement
- Responsible for building & continuously improve interactive reports as per business requirements
- Actively involved in business and financial analysis by providing key highlights on respective business unit(s) achievement / performance that may have impact of strategic issues
- Provide input into creating the right structure to enhance companys credit position but enable company to win the bid
- Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management / Commerce / Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
- Minimum 2 - 3 years working experience in a related field, ideally in financial analysis / banking/ credit environment with exposure to international business environment
- Experience in dealing with complex data sets and data manipulation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, team-player and ability to work proactively
- Possess independent working style aligned with team based goals
- Good at planning, numbers and trends analysis
- Analytical, good with situational modelling and management accounting numbers with strong business acumen
- Good clear handling of English (both verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have endurance, innovation and solutions focused
- Loyal and service oriented
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
- Successful candidate will have the opportunity to go to Switzerland for training
