Deloitte Consulting has established a Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Malaysia to provide seamless Human Resources and Financial operations support to our consulting business across the Southeast Asia.

Accountant - Finance SSC

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will handle full set of accounts which covers AR, AP and GL for a few countries in the Southeast Asia region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize and co-ordinate monthly closing and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements. Prepare management reports to support management decision-making
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure submission of accurate and timely financial report
• Ensure compliance with Group’s Accounting policies and procedures and statutory requirements
• Supervise daily accounting activities
• Analyze and manage foreign exchange exposure
• Ad-hoc reporting as assigned
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting/Professional degree.
• 3 years of experience in closing a full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and familiar with corporate reporting requirements. Regional accounting exposure is preferred
• Experience in using computerized accounting packages such as SAP/Oracle Financials is preferred
• Familiarity with US GAAP is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
