Finance Advisor Commercial Fuels & Bitumen

Responsibilities:
- Provide business and financial analysis on business performance for strategic decision making;
- Interpretation and compliance of Accounting Policy & Standard (IAS, FRS, SOX);
- Key team member in providing investment and portfolio management support e.g. economics evaluation, modeling;
- Maintain and ensure compliance of internal finance and business controls via the defined framework;
- Ensure the company and organisation governance are in place including for investment proposal and procurement activities;
- Involve in global and regional initiative to drive standard finance and business processes.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or qualified Accountant with 3 - 5 years of experience in finance control, accounting operations and/or business/finance analyst areas;
- Meet tight deadlines e.g. project evaluations and work under pressure during month-end, quarter-end, year-end closings and other projects milestones;
- Able to provide timely value-added finance input/challenge to business investment proposals/queries/projects;
- Able to show a strong business aptitude & acumen;
- Able to work independently and possessed strong communication skill;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;

- Assist the Distribution Finance Manager in maintaining a fit for purpose, risk based controls framework, assurance process and controls compliance, including business planning, MI, credit management, investment evaluation, risk management, -SOX/RDS key controls and accounting integrity.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of working experience in finance field, preferably with a minimum 3 years of audit experience;
- A member of MIA or other accounting bodies will be added advantage;
- Proven strong analytical skills and ability to understand commercial drivers of the business;
- Sound communication and inter-personal skills, the ability to influence and coordinate;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
- Authorisation to work in Malaysia is required for this position.
