Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of heavy mechanical and electromechanical equipment and specialty vehicles. The US-headquartered company supplies high quality products to its customers in several market segments all over the world. The Fortune 500 company has a multi-billion dollar turnover, and employs close to 15000 people across more than 20 manufacturing sites and several sales and service facilities.

Position : Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities :

• Directs the financial affairs of the company and prepares financial analysis of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules to the management.
• Responsible for the company’s financial plans and budgets, its accounting practices including internal controls, maintain and managed relationships with the banks and the financial community, maintenance of its fiscal records, and preparation of financial reports.
• Support and participate in strategy development as needed.
  

Requirements :

• Ideal candidates will be finance professionals with about 8 years of relevant experience
• A graduate degree, CA/CPA qualification.
• Exposure to manufacturing in China would be critical.
• Strong operations and systems focus
• Business acumen and commercial & negotiation skills
• Must be fluent both in the English and Chinese language, ability to read/write and speak in both languages

• Professional Qualified Accountant and member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants.
• At least four (4) years experience in large Accounting firm.
• Commercial experience in property development, golf club and leisure business.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Strong financial aptitude and business acumen.

SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

Purpose: Lead business performance reviews and drive financial improvements. Support the VP and/or GM in business management initiatives.

Basic Function & Scope of Job

• Play a major role in strategic planning, and formulating business plans.
