In line with the company’s expansion program and to support the growth strategy, the company is looking for dynamic and high caliber individuals with well proven track records for the following position to be based in Ipoh:

Internal Audit Executive

Responsibilities :

• Carrying out audit assignments and reporting to the Internal Auditor.
• Assist in designing audit programmes and system documentation.
• Assist in developing audit checklist and audit techniques.
• Supervising the work done by internal auditing staff.
• Performing analytical review on audit findings and make appropriate recommendations to overcome system weaknesses.
• Assist in presenting audit findings and recommendations to the Departmental Heads.
• Assist the Internal Auditor in the preparation of audit report to the management.
• Assist in handling special ad hoc management assignments.
• Assist in staff appraisal and providing feedback to the Internal Auditor as to staff performance.
• Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008 - Internal Quality Audits and Auditor for HACCP Audits upon proper training and appointment by the QMR/HACCP Coordinator.
• Assist in conducting on the job trainings (OJT) for new internal auditing staff.
• Overseeing the departmental functions in the absence of the Internal Auditor.

Requirements :

• Possess Degree/Diploma in Accounting or pursuing professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA finalist).
• Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant working experience preferably in a public listed company.
• PC literate and well versed with Microsoft Office XP applications.
• Possess good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to handle multitasks and deadlines.
• Willing to travel extensively.
• Possessed own transport.

Responsibilities :

• To plan and execute audits in accordance with accepted standards, to provide objective and professional evaluation of internal control system, identifying risks at all level of business and to report audit findings and make recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations and reducing costs on improvement in control system, business processes and economical use of resources.
  

Requirements :

• Diploma / Degree or part professional qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years working experience preferably in internal auditing.
• Good understanding of internal control and risks based auditing is a pre-requisite.
• Analytical and possess problem solving, and communication skills both verbal and written.
• A team player and able to work independently.
• Knowledge in property development / construction / manufacturing and / or hotel operations will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Accountancy or any Business disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience, with 3 years in commercial auditing
• Good understanding of internal controls, generally accepted auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles
• Candidates with lower qualifications but with more than 5 years experience in audit are encouraged to apply
• Experience in handling financial and operational audit
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision and willing to work extra hours.
